Titanium Dioxide is a white pigment and one of the most versatile materials in the world. Known as TiO2, its chemical formulation. TiO2 can be used in various sectors:

In the paints and varnishes sector Titanium Dioxide is responsible for giving whiteness, brightness, dispersability and weather resistance. It is the only pigment in white paints and enhance the color in colored inks.

Due to its durability, refractive properties and reinforcement that promotes to colors, Titanium Dioxide is widely used in the plastics and derivatives sector, such as Masterbatches, PVC (compounds, frames, tubes, etc.) and plastic articles in general. In addition, it absorbs ultraviolet (UV) rays and scatters light, preventing the aging of plastic materials that are exposed to time. This characteristic of absorbing and blocking UV rays also makes TiO2 widely used in the sunscreen and cosmetics industry.
